ABOUT THE PIECE:
A Murmur of Some Lost Thrush for brass quintet, accordion, percussion and electronics is a worn-out robe, in which fragments of Guillaume de Machaut’s medieval music are rubbed away and evaporate into noise, dust, lonely lines, and rusted chords. The electronics is projected through wine bottle containers with speaker elements in them, placed in front of the musicians.
